Flexible Ultrasound Transducers

Fabrication of Bulk Flexible Ultrasound Transducers as Receivers - This project is being realized in collaboration with the Pennsylvania State University. A 64 element flexible ultrasound array was made from PZT-5A and was characterized using an impedance analyzer and an ultrasonic pulser-receiver. The transducer can also be bonded to a flexible cable in order to make the entire transducer assembly flexible.
