ABOUT ME

I am just another student who fell in love with science while listening to music. I started my academic career with dust and stones as a civil engineer, and by the time I completed my training, I realized that I am lost beyond the boundaries of my undergrad class lectures. The involuntariness of life handheld me to the horizons of inter-disciplinary research which weathered me to the diverse climates of nanotechnology. Today, I am a nanotechnologist, an acoustician, a student of mechanics, and above all an academic searching for the higher purpose of life

EDUCATION & RESEARCH

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Light and sound in healthcare

- Applying photonics and acoustics to antidisciplinary healthcare applications

October 2019 - July 2020

BUIL Lab, BME, The Pennsylvania State University

Visiting Researcher

Early cancer detection and selective ablation

- This is one of the fields I am really into. If this can be done, cancer will tend to be inexistent.

Flexible & wearable technologies

- One of the coolest fields in my opinion. Imagine a world where all textile sold have flexible transducers impregnated to serve various functions of your choice

August 2016 - July 2021

MEMS Lab, CeNSE, Indian Institute of Science

M.S. & Ph.D.

August 2012 - August 2016

Jadavpur University

B.E.

July 2021 - current

MEMS Lab, CeNSE, Indian Institute of Science

Research Associate

Ultrasound transducers

I find great pleasure in making devices of any kind that generate sound
